Nsobe Bush Run – “Running Wild for Education” 12th December 2026 | 5km • 10km • 21km Distance categories Step into the wild and join us for the 6th Nsobe Bush Run, a one-of-a-kind running experience on our bush trails through pristine shady Miombo woodlands and the dambo’s of Nsobe Game Camp. This is more than a race – it’s an adventure - where fitness meets wild. Runners of all levels will enjoy the rare thrill of chance wildlife encounters and possible mushroom picking, the beauty of Nsobe’s wild spaces, and the joy of being part of a vibrant community event. Whether you’re looking for a personal challenge, a family day out, or a team-building experience for your company, the Nsobe Bush Run promises fitness, fun, and unforgettable memories. But every step also carries a deeper purpose: this event is a fundraiser for Nsobe Schools for the Community, which educates over 600 vulnerable children from our rural community, opening doors to quality education, hope, and opportunity. Come run wild with us – for yourself, for the adventure, and for the future of Zambia’s children. Choose your challenge: 5km, 10km, or 21km
Event entry fee includes your running bib, finishing medal and a T-shirt
This is not a run about big prizes - the focus of this run is raising funds for education.
This year we have also added a Virtual run option - so you can run where ever you are and still support a great cause - but you will miss out on Running Wild @ Nsobe. (please note virtual runners will not be placed, or eligible for prizes)

Nsobe Schools for the Community www.nsobedevelopmenttrust.org
Nsobe Development Trust is the Managing Agency and umbrella NGO that holds and runs Nsobe schools for the Community (Primary and Secondary), Safe Houses for vulnerable remote rural Girl students, a Tertiary Bursary scheme for Nsobe graduates, a community health support scheme, skills training and community empowerment, infrastructure and development projects.
Nsobe School is a school with a difference in remote rural Zambia, offering quality education, love and care to our community’s disadvantaged children. Nsobe students are the bringers of literacy and hope to their villages. Nsobe believes in Christ-Centred transformative education, focusing not only on academics, but equipping pupils with life skills for them to secure or create their own employment, and become citizens of integrity who we hope can help to uplift their communities and partner in Zambia’s development.
Started in 2009 with 16 children, as there was no school accessible for our community’s children, we have grown a grade a year, and 2021 saw our first graduating Grade 12 class. Nsobe now has over 650 students enrolled across a fully completed primary and secondary campus, taught by 45 dedicated teachers and support staff who serve as role models and mentors. Passionate about developing and caring for the whole child, a daily feeding scheme is offered, as well as sports and clubs, guidance, child protection, early year’s development, life skills and leadership training, and Safe Houses for vulnerable girl students to offer them a nurturing environment in which they can gain an educated control over their futures.
The PTA and community deeply value the school and the hope it has brought and have helped to build the school. In 2023 Nsobe Schools became a Grant Aided school in a public/private partnership with the Zambian Ministry of Education and Managing Agency Nsobe Development Trust, to ensure sustainability and long-term adherence to Nsobe’s standards, ethos and vision. Nsobe School is recognized as a model school with excellent results by the Ministry of Education.
The school’s running resources, privately paid teachers’ salaries and all infrastructure have been funded through donor support and grant writing.
