From a historic first edition to a truly international race, the Kansanshi Marathon has become a landmark event on Zambia’s running calendar. Hosted in Solwezi, it has welcomed 2,000 runners in 2025  from 22 countries, including leading athletes from across the region. The 2026 Kansanshi Marathon features ZAA-accredited races over 42.2 km, 21.1 km, and 10 km, with routes professionally measured to World Athletics standards—ensuring accuracy and a top-quality experience for both elite and everyday runners. We are also proud to offer differently-abled race categories, strengthening inclusion and giving every athlete the chance to be part of race day. Secure your entry and join us for a world-class event in the heart of the North-Western Province.
