Nsobe Bush Run – “Running Wild for Education”

Step into the wild and join us for the 5th Nsobe Bush Run, a one-of-a-kind running experience on our bush trails through pristine shady Miombo woodlands and the dambo’s of Nsobe Game Camp. This is more than a race – it’s an adventure – where fitness meets wild.
Runners of all levels will enjoy the rare thrill of chance wildlife encounters and possible mushroom picking, the beauty of Nsobe’s wild spaces, and the joy of being part of a vibrant community event. But every step also carries a deeper purpose: this event is a fundraiser for Nsobe Schools for the Community, which educates over 600 vulnerable children from our rural community, opening doors to quality education, hope, and opportunity.

Race Schedule and Cut-Off Times
* 21km Race starts 6:30am (cut off time 10:00am)
* 10km race starts 7:00 am (cut off time 9:30am)
* 5km race starts 7:30am (cut off time 9:00am)

⚠️ Attention: Participants Under 12
For safety reasons, children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a guardian 👨👩👧👦 at all times during the event.
Entries for unaccompanied children will not be permitted 🚫👶.

Nsobe Bush Run – Terms & Conditions of Entry
(Valid for the 5th Nsobe Bush Run, 6th December 2025)
By entering the Nsobe Bush Run, participants agree to abide by the following Terms & Conditions:
1. General Event Rules
All participants must complete the official registration process, providing accurate and up-to-date personal information.
Any false, incomplete, or misleading information will result in immediate disqualification without refund.
No substitutions, transfers, or swapping of entries will be allowed on race day.
Registration fees are non-refundable under all circumstances, including injury, illness, or personal scheduling conflicts.
The organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or disqualify any participant who does not comply with event rules.
2. Health & Safety
Participants enter at their own risk. The organizers, sponsors, landowners, and volunteers accept no responsibility for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation in the event.
By entering, participants declare that they are medically fit, have trained appropriately for their chosen distance, and are able to participate safely.
Medical support will be available on site. Participants must comply with the directions of medical personnel at all times.
Any participant deemed unfit to continue (by medical staff, marshals, or race officials) will be withdrawn from the race for their own safety.
Participants enter on the understanding that this is a trail run and the track may be uneven, have stones, roots and obstacles.
Minimum age requirements:
Any participant under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult in their event
3. Wildlife & Environmental Considerations
The Nsobe Bush Run takes place within Nsobe Game Camp’s pristine Miombo woodland and dambo environment, home to free-roaming wildlife.
Participants must remain on marked trails and obey marshal instructions at all times.
Wildlife encounters: Stop, give way, and follow marshal guidance. Do not attempt to chase, feed, or interfere with wildlife.
Littering is strictly prohibited. Any participant found discarding waste on the route will be disqualified.
Respect the natural environment and cultural setting of the event.
Participants enter on the understanding that Nsobe Game Camp is a game ranch home to wildlife, and the owners of Miengwe Farm and organisers of this event are released from any claim of any natural and incidental risks that may occur.
4. Race Timing & Cut-Offs
Official timing will be managed by the organizers. All participants must wear their allocated race number bib visibly at all times.
Cut-off times:
5 km – 1.5 hour
10 km – 2.5 hours
21 km – 3 hours (competitive running event, not a walking category)
Participants failing to meet cut-off times at designated checkpoints may be withdrawn by marshals.
5. Liability & Indemnity
By entering the event, participants (and guardians of under-18 entrants) accept full responsibility for their participation and release the organizers from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the event.
Participants consent to medical treatment in the case of emergency.
The organizers reserve the right to modify the route, postpone, or cancel the event due to safety, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, refunds will be issued.
6. Media & Photography
By participating, entrants consent to the use of their images, name, and likeness in event photography, video, and promotional material by the organizers and partners.
7. Code of Conduct
Participants must treat fellow runners, volunteers, staff, and marshals with respect.
Unsportsmanlike behaviour, including verbal abuse, physical aggression, or deliberate obstruction, will result in immediate disqualification.
Alcohol and drug use before or during the race is strictly prohibited.
8. Acknowledgement
By completing registration, participants confirm they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions of Entry for the Nsobe Bush Run.
